re: Free, Printable Wedding Invitations?

Quoting ♥sheilalynn&hearts:  That's alot of freaking money!!”

We had a lot to send out. The bulk of it was the stamps to mail it, and I have an HP printer, so ink was a bit pricey too.

The stamps price does include the thank you cards too. I think we mailed out 125 invites.

ETA: If I could go back and do it again, I'd just print them at Kinko's or something.

Plus, you have to be careful that the weight of the invite plus RSVP card and envelope doesn't fall into the 2nd ounce rate. Ours was just under.

Before you purchase stamps, take a complete invitation to the post office and weigh it, unless you have a postal scale at home. If it's under 1 ounce, you can buy the coils of stamps in 100s, depending on how many you need. And I suggest buying the Forever Stamps, as the price increases in postage don't affect those.

We bought our paper and response card kit at staples when we got married and it came with quite a few templates too, I think we used one of the ones from the kit haha. They have all kinds of beautiful invitation kits there for decent costs... Michaels arts&crafts store also carries them and has tons of wedding decor/necessities.

Also- if you have photoshop you can download digital scrapbooking/invitation/card kits where you can create your own to print off. I did that for Nia's 1st birthday. If you are curious of this option and want to see an idea let me know   weddings are so exciting you will have tons of fun planning!

which? the photoshop option or the staples one? I'm assuming PS haha

what I mean is if you have photoshop, you can download different digital kits with all kinds of neat things to create a digital scrapbook or invitations... whatever you want to make really. So what you would do is make one up adding your text and all that however you want it to look and what it will say and you can make your response cards as well and then you print them out or get them printed. You can even add a photo of you and Bobby if you want to. I could help you with it if you wanted. It's tons of fun! here is the one I made for Nia's first bday but you can decorate it however you want with different designs.
