I already mentioned a great way to tighten the muscles is kegel exercises. And, as I mentioned, it can take women 6 weeks and sometimes even longer.Work out those muscles :-)

Did you ask your SO if you actually were? For a while I always felt loose even though my husband said it was really tight. Either he was lying or it had to do with my nerve injury during delivery lol

also i was told the best way to do it is while you are doing a pee try holding it in i still cant hold it for to long lol it drips out TMI sorry
