re: MTV's 16 And Pregnant

I love the show ! There was an episode where one of the teen moms was single and they do not hide the fact that it's not easy! I think alot of younger moms think having a baby is gonna be all smiles,buying cute outfits,and showing your baby off.. in reality there are those great,wonderful days but on the other hand there's the really sucky days! Im expecting at 19 and I can admit I'm very scared! My oldest sister had her first baby at 17,while I was 9 and has had 2 more..I seen first hand that having a baby young isn't all giggles and goo's.. its hard work ! I appreciate the girls on 16 and pregnant for tellng the truth!

I knew it was something like that! hahaha...but yeah I thought it was so fucked up for them to act that way..and when he was on the phone it seemed like he wanted to try..I would take them to court so I can see my son/daughter.

there was some show i watched that made young couples have a reality check on what it would be like to have a baby. i forgot what it was. but there was like 4 couples. and they would have to be the parents of a newborn for a week. then a 6 month old. then a toddler. then a pre-teen. then a teen. then a grandparent. it was a good reality show. alot of them realized they were no where ready for a baby.. man i wish i could remember the name of that show!!!

ETA: the parents of these children closely watched them. and if they felt like they were endagering their child, they could intervien. [sp?] and tell them what they are doing wrong..

i would too. but can an underage father do that?? i mean im sure he could i was jw if it's even possible..

yeah I know what show it was...It was on like the WE channel..I cant remember whats its called..but they gave them kids who didnt listen..like yeah they would have a hard time..but half of those kids were acting up because they werent their parents and they wouldnt get in trouble...

but they did give them a house a car? i think a job..i cant really remember but they did have a damn house for that whole time

yeah he can..its his child too..they cant keep him from seeing his own child unless he could possibly harm the baby..and they still would have to go through court..

yeah they had a house and a car. and a job. and one of the "parents" would have to decide who was going to work that day. what i loved was sometimes they got siblings! and one couple got a vegetarian kid.. haha and dogs.. it was like a real family..

I didnt watch it as much..but i remember one girl who was having a hard time with her boyfriend and they broke up..I dont remember if it was the boy who was acting like a dumb ass or the girl

mm i think it was the girl who was acting like a dumbass. there was one girl who had to change the toddler's diaper. and didn't even wipe him off. just stuck a new diaper on him :/ and was letting him run around naked peeing on everything..
