exactly!..my SO just fills my immature side..I'm the serious one but he keeps me down to earth..I don't worry or stress about things when we have each other and joke around

Same with mine, Everyones always like "omg he's 8 years older?!" im like honestly if you knew him you wouldnt even be able to tell I love that he's old enough not to be stupid but can still act young and make me laugh..he might as well be younger haha

yeah usually thats how it works.
My boyfriend is a year and a half older then me.
I have never dating anyone less then a couple months younger then me.
But i dont see anything wrong with dating a guy younger then you.

cute....our first kiss was the mostawkwardkiss ever but I remember it like it was yesterday!..it was november 3rd 2004..it's just nice that I'm having a baby with someone I've known all my teenage life....it was funny I didn't know he was a year in a half younger then me until his 13th birthday..(we were only dating for a month..)..lol

My SO is 2 years younger than me. lol. Thats probably why we have so much trouble right now.

I've never dated a younger guy in my entire life lol. I don't know why. I think it's a little weird when the 16 & 17 year olds are getting pregnant by guys who are like 21, 22. I'm friends with a lot of older guys & they wouldn't date a high school teenybopper, let alone get one pregnant lol.

Anyhow, I'm 18 & my SO is 20, so not a huge gap or anything.

i agree with it being weird with the 16&17 year old with the 21&22 year olds.

i mean my SO is going to be 20 but i will also turn 18 in september so i guess its not that weird ya know?

No, that's okay. My SO is three years older than me for a month  
But, a 16 yr old & a 21 year old? They have different needs, life experience, wants, etc.

with a 2 year age gap that doesn't seem taht weird...especially the older you get the less the gap seems....but when its like a 5 year age difference and the girl is like 15 and the boy is 20 I think thats all kinds of wrong!
