groceries are expensive. I know its hard but try and ct coupons, and get store brand things if needed. I give up on applying for that crap. It takes forever for them to turn around and say "sorry, you make too much money"

I know when i applied i had to fill out this application and they want EVERYTHING, rent, car payments, check stubs,etc. Your SSI will automatically show up on your record when they run you through.

Nope. Im 18 and i will get it until im 19. you just have to provide proof that youre in school.

I WOULD work at Mcdonalds...If my friend didnt get a job there while SHE was pregnant, and she got bitched at the whole time for not being able to lift heavy objects...& She only made minimum wage, and had to put up with all that bull-shit at work.

Im sorry, but working at McDonalds, is just a waste of effin' time.

Not insinuating that you are unappreciative at all. But I also lost a parent at a young age. I wasn't a minor, but my little brother was. And he was in no way entitled to that money. My mom had to have it to keep the bills paid so they would have a place to live.

My mom is actually in a position right now to marry a man that could make her financial situation a whole lot better. But she doesn't love him. Why should a woman have to marry a man just for money?

Don't accuse me of having negative motives. Just trying to help you with the best advice I have given your situation. I'm sure your mother did not ask to be a widow, nor to have her teenage daughter get pregnant. You make the best of the situations you are handed.

but i reported my school grants which is like 9000 a year and my mans unemployment which is 800 bi weekly which is more then 1000 a month and i still get stamps and cash aid......HOWEVER i only qualified at 6 months preggo because there are now 3 people on that income.....but when i have the kid the money and stamps will increase

i just saw your more then 6 months preggo....go down to the office report your bills.....and how much you make and stuff.

Have you tried the work from home program called dealbarbie pays?
its not much...$100-300 a month depending on how much you work. but its something extra atleast

When a parent recieves it and they die while youre a minor, the children or child get it. All my sibings and i recieve it now.
