i also found you get the clear/plastic looking braces they are not as noticable as the reallllly meal looking ones they dont sparkle in the ligth and are not as noticable and people wil prob not even notice at first

My friend was missing some teeth and she had fake teeth attatched to a small like retainer (she called it her flipper) and she actually wore this with her braces until everything else got straightened out and she could get her permanent teeth.

The wire will go over the empty spot, so it won't be too bad. When I had my braces, it would sometimes hurt really bad, to be honest. It would usually be pretty sore for at least about a week after getting them tightened. But it was all worth it to get my teeth fixed. I can smile now and not worry about what my teeth look like. =]

Not so much that. It hurts when the first put them on (really sore) and it hurts when they tighten them. But you slowly get used to the tightening to where they really don't bother you anymore.

You can't get those unless you have almost perfect teeth unfortunately.
