re: teens breastfeeding.

I'm pretty sure they have to allow you to pump through out the day,and maybe keep the milk in a fridge or freezer in the nurses office?

The nurse at my highschool allowed her breastfeeding moms to come in during their study hall or electives to pump and she let em store it too...

but if they failed or got a 75 or below in their elective she wouldnt allow it.

i had my first child at 16 and breastfed him until he self weaned, there was nothing weird about it.

I envy ANY mother who can breastfeed, no matter the age. I was never able to do it and it hurts me badly, so i love and encourage any momma that does it or wants to try it, go for it, it is the healthiest thing you can do for your baby. It is not wierd or anything like that, if anyone thinks it is they need to go suck an egg!

I think it's great that you opt to breastfeed. I don't think it is weird at all -- you are a young mom who knows what's best for her baby!

Well you know what I mean lol.

I know I'm doing the right thing, but even my mom and MIL are always saying "gah, you're still BF" "You're gunna be one of those women who go the full year"   And...? None of my friends chose to BF and all get annoyed when I go in the other room to feed my baby

You're not weird at all! It makes you an informed parent who is striving to give their child his/her birthright and the best start in life. And for that, you should be extremely proud of yourself!

I tell my SO i don't poop. We've been together almost 2 years and i've never pooped while he was around   I can hold it   lol

The World Health Organization states you should EBF for six months, and continue for two years and longer. Throw that in their face.

He's always like, "i've never seen you poop or fart. i really want to see." he's kinda weird.
