copay for implanon

hi I'm schdualed to have implanon inserted next week and I was just wondering how much it cost out of pocket? I'll call my insurance tomarrow. I justtrying to get aballpark figure

most insurances wont cover B.C unless its medically needed (irregular mensi)

all depends on your insurance...
mine wont cover any birthcontrol becides depo and sterilization

and have you read the side effects for that...you can have no period..or a irregular period for 3 years...

yah and implanon is $500... its considered a surgical procedure b.c they numb your arm and inject somthing in you

I had medicaid/children's mercy family health partners and they covered all of it and also the mirena both times I got it....I didnt pay anything

I have medicaid and they're paying for ALL of my mirena.

state insurances will pay for b.c lol they dont want ne more babies lol

I got it inserted a year ago and have not had one period until now and this time my period wasabout 4 days (not bleeding anymore now)..but I think the reason I cant lose weight & my back pains have gotten worse..not to mention my horrible mood swings/anxiety is from the implanon...=/

Yah I know 2 peopl taht had it, I was going to get it in boot camp but after watching the video on sideeffects... No thank you...lol I got pregnant 3 months later but im glad I did... one of the girls had to have it removed agian like a week later b.c it broke in her arm...

well thats great....i was reading side effects from people who had experienced them and one said that at least two different doctors told her that the implanon could cause you to either take a long time to concieve again or u might not be able to later on from having it inside of you.....but im not saying thats true or anything..but it does make you wonder.
