BC,IUD,DEPO,PERIOD,PREGGO?

I had my PP exam today and well everything is okay. I didnt wait to have sex so he is making me wait to start me on BC to see if im PREGGO again, i hope not, we have used condoms (except twice and hubby didnt get off) but we just cant afford another one Chloie isnt even 2 months yet, and we dont have room for another one. so we are praying that we arent preggo again.. but i asked my OBGYN about an IUD and he wont give me one bcuz I'm "to young" and i only have one baby. but i dont want another one for a long time. i dont get what age has to do with it!?! and I cant remember a pill so hes gonna try the depo shot with me.. but he said my period should come in about 2-3 weeks..I HOPE SO! I'll be glad I want on BC so bad.

anyone know why im "to young"?
anyone know about the depo is it good?

I'm 16 and I have mirena. You doctor is wierd...lol.

ok...i am 20 and i will be getting mirena on my pp appt.

ask another doctor... you are 20 years old  

hey i wanted my tubes tied and they told me im to young you have to be a certain age or have so many kinds. i dont know why they said no to the IUD that makes so sense. go to a different dr.

i have mirena and im 20... but i just had twins

i got preggo on depo so i dont have much to say about that

but for future reference ...your hubby doesnt have to get off to get you preggo .....

I got Mirena and have only one baby, you doc sounds pretty off on his facts.

I HATED the depo. I should have listened to my friends who warned me. I gained 30lbs and bled for 3 months.

talk to another doctor. im not young, but i only have one baby and i have mirena. its easily removable too if you decide you want another one so your doc is crazy.

im 17. im getting mirena when i get my period. i know i hsave two kids, but my dr said i could get it before my last one. so i think your doctor is just weird.

they told me that mirena wouldn't be good for me because of the chances that i wouldn't be with one person for the next 5 years because of my age

but depo is good. i haven't had any problems with it and i'm now on my 3rd shot. and i don't get a period at all!

i wouldnt recommend depo.... 

I'm on depo.. but I think I'm getting ready to switch. I think it's making my hair fall out.   And Why would he think you'd get your period in 2-3 weeks? It may just be breakthough bleeding!! I got my first shot in May and got my period 9 days ago.. and am STILL ON IT. [ugh] And get a second opinion about the IUD.. I know a few people who are around your age and have it!

Find a new doc. Mirena is approved for women 18 and up who have had at least one child.

And stay far far far away from depo! It's the devil!

see thats what i wanted and im 20 and im "to young" STUPID DOCTOR. i hate him.lol.
