How to put a screaming baby to bed?

posted 2nd Jul
Do you know when your LO is sooooo tired and everything you do makes them scream louder than the last? Sometimes my 5 week old gets so sleepy he can't fall asleep- I try feeding him a little, or putting him in his swing... Whats the deal? Is it the heat? Finally I took him to the pool with me and we both got wet and he was pissed, but after he ate a little and passed out... Is there any other way to help him get to sleep?

that happens to my LO to I just put her in her swing & she ends up settling in 5-10 mins.
It's okay to let your baby whine a bit before they fall asleep.
I usually let her whine a bit, and then I sing to her while she's in her swing

Do you have a bouncer or something that vibrates? I have to use our bouncer every once in a while!

yeah I tried the swing... it usually helps calm him down. Not this time though

Sometimes when my LO is overly tired, I give her a warm bath and she tends to fall asleep not long afterwards.

You can pick up Lavender bath soap and lotion at Walmart. It helps soothe them to sleep.
