Would CPS step in??

This is an argument I had with my boyfriend after some wonderful fucking revelations about what he thinks a relationship should be.  

I tend to think if CPS knew that children were growing up in a multiple-people relationship (like polygamy only without the marriage part) they would take the children away because that is FUCKED UP. He says they wouldn't care.

What do you think?

I think as long as the children are being properly cared for they wouldn't care.

Unless the children are being harmed, abused or neglected the answer is NO. Moral beliefs hold little barrings on CPS intervention.

If the children are being taken care of properly i don't see why CPS would need to be involved.

Really? Wow. I would think having one daddy and two mommies would get them involved.

If the kids are in a safe environment and they're being taken care of i don't see why CPS would step in...

i completely agree.
with the amount of funding they have especially they wouldn't be able to step in if they wanted to. unless the children are in danger they don't really care.

Nope. In fact there was a threesome relationship. These people lived in the same house. 1 guy and 2 girls. They slept in the same bed and all had sex with each other. One of the women was pregnant and the other one still had milk left from her last child and both women planned on breastfeeding the child. The threesome still had all the kids.

Oh and they were all about sex. One girl was doing something and one of the people told her to go masturbate she would feel better after it. They were on Oprah or Dr. Phil I believe.

lol they can't step in for sexual orientation , unless they are trying to engage the kids in sexual acts or something !

I agree that it is a screwy envrironment but unless the child is being harmed there is no reason for CPS to take away the child.
