i didnt really have hospital bag. my bf just brought some stuff to the hospital for me to change into when it was time for me to go. i didnt take a bag because i didnt know if i was in true labor and it wouldve sucked for me to take the bag downtown and then bring it back. (for the record, i didnt have one ready anyway. lolz) so just have your babys father bring you something when its time for you to go home, like a change of clothes and a outfit for the baby to wear home. alot of people bring clothes for the baby to have on while their in the hospital, but hospitals provide a shirt and hat for you there, so i left my LO in the hospital get up while she was in the room with me and then they changed her clothes while she was in the nursery. they give you diapers, ready made formula in a bottle if youre not going to breast feed, everything you need. i mean i dont see the point in a bag really. i mean if all goes smoothly you should only be there for 3 days. i was in there from friday morning, till sunday afternoon....i rambled. lolz. i have a habit of doing that. hehe sorry

I say bring:
Phone +charger (if you have one)
toothbrush + brush or comb
pajamas, or somthing comfortable to wear for however long you will be there
Clothing for your baby (gloves, onsies, bibs, socks, etc.)
anything to comfort you, maybe your own pillow or blanket for after the birth while you rest.
AND a camera to take lots of pictures of your little angel =D
Hope this helped!!

next time i'll probably end up doing the same thing i did this time. hehe. but all in all it was ok. i was provides toiletries and all that stuff and it was wayyyy more comfortable for me to be in the hospital gown then in clothes. i had a regular delivery, and i went home in what i went 2 the hospital in (sweat pants nd a t shirt) but thats only because what my bf brought wouldve been too uncomfortable.

What I'd bring is some baby clothes, little beanie to keep the babys head warm [ If it's cold out ], socks and mittens.   The diapers the hospital provides for you while your there. [: Then when your getting ready to go home I suggest a family member bring the car seat to take your baby home in. [:

Not everyone needs a pump in the hospital. Kadens almost 2 months old and I've only used my pump a few times, and none of those times was in the hospital.
