I think that the Simplicity Crib had recalls out back when I was pregnant with my daughter in 2007 too.
We almost got one and heard about it, so I just stayed away from the Simplicity line completely.

yeah they had one right after we bought ours but its always been with the ones that have drop rails.idk why they dont just stop making those models...

We have one   The website said if your crib was purchased after the 2007 recalls then it's fine but I am not chancing it all. Simplicity has a bad rep and I wish I would have researched before buying one. My son is 6 1/2 months old and still sleeps in his pack n play next to our bed. At this point I am thinking about keeping him in that until he is in his toddler bed because if you think about it, pack n plays are soooo much safer. I will just pack up his bedding until he gets his big boy bed.

What do y'all think?

thats tooo funny caz thats the same thing my bd tells me!! But u know what since he was a newborn i always wanted to hear him breath or see his chest moving!! a little crazy i know but he is my baby!! but u know what ill be more comfortable when my son can compltely talk and tell if something is wrong.

i think its mostly drop-sides.omg...i was just in graysons room & my husband came in & said "yea when u told me to come get him last night i came in & he was wedged between the rail & mattress & his hand was caught through the bars"!!!!!!definitely going to be in my bed for a while...

Mine's a drop side. I have to return it...

I just returned mine and got a new crib that I like more, and a jogging stroller for the price of the old one

nice!mine seems like the mattress doesnt fit right.ive measured it & everything & i know its standard size

Mine always seemed perfectly fine to me!! It was the crib w/ the changing table attached. It had so much storage, but I hated the color.
