Conceived while breastfeeding!

Yay! It took us roughly four months but we finally conceived while breastfeeding!! I got my bfp today and I am so excited. I just saw my OB last week and she had little hope that I would be able to get pregnant while still nursing but we did! Just wanted to share I am very excited. Oh and think pink for us we have four boys including the step kids!

Congrats! That is how I got in my current condition. Because I am BF I have noticed a little more cramping though (likley due to hormones and not increasing my food and water to sustain bf and baby). I brought it to my Drs attention and she will monitor me closley. If you feel the same way be sure to tell your Dr right away.

Thanks so much! Lots of baby dust to you. This month was my first month of having a period at all and it actually happened this month. Im so surprised! How old is your little one and have you gotten af back yet?

Congratulations! Watch for signs of twins, you are 8 times more likely to have identical twins that way, that's how I got mine!

Yes I am. The girls are 13 months now. We are weaning to one feeding a day and that is at night. Matter of fact, I too got pregnant on my first period. lol I am strugling to maintain the pregnancy (I am a m/c risk with several under my belt) but the Dr told me all should be fine if I keep in mind that I need enough calories to sustain pregnancy and nursing twins! She advised it was best to wean a little faster. lol

ahhh I know. I posted about a month or two back about ttc while nursing and you told me that. It freaked me out a little haha but I know we will be fine either way. How far along were you when you knew it was twins and how did you find out?
