So you have personally gone back to the doctor in the past 5 years or so and got the other 30 or so vaccine doeses that were not give to you as a child because they were not invented/used/so readily available? I doubt it.
And I never threatened you. I made a 100% TRUE statement. I could bring my children, to your kids school with zero vaccines and they could attend daily and there wouldnt be a thing on earth you could do about it but get mad. I assure you, there are many unvaccinated children around yours on a dailiy basis, out in everyday life. At the grocery store, playground, park, bus, classrooms, churches, even walking down the street.

Thanks for telling me things i'm already fully aware of  . Looks like most people that voted said they vaccinated their kids anyways & that's all I was wondering. And by getting vaccinated, he's not at risk for getting things from people on the street or in everyday life thank god! He's protected.Unless he's too little to get the vaccine yet which is what this was all about. Only people who aren't vaccinated are seriously at risk for those illnesses which are not gone.

Can I ask you why you chose not to vaccinate your children? Just curious. I'm sure you have many reasons as do I for vaccinating my son.

Actually, no vaccine is 100% so vaccinated or not there is still at least SOME risk for contracting the diseases and viruses... just a little fyi

That's true, but most of the timethey are close to 100% or 100%so you are much more protected than if you weren't vaccinated at all.

And can I ask your reasons for not vaccinating? I really am curious. People do it or don't do itfor different reasons you know?

im quoting this one cause i dont want to go back and quote where you said it sounds threating...but on here ive not felt threatened by non vaccating moms it was kinda like "na na na boo boo my kids dont have shots and they could get your child sick" like laughing at it. ive even had one laugh and say "i hope my son gets all your kids sick" im sorry but i strongly believe non vaccinating moms rely on the moms that do vaccinate. meaning, the reason disease is down is cause of the shots. if their was a sudden outbreak on polio ill bet most will go get their kid that vaccine.

A mom really told you that she hopes her son gets all your kids sick  . Now that's going WAY too far and that really disturbs me. There's something wrong with someone who would say that  I mean I know people feel strongly about certain issue but come on. Especially since that means that she wouldn't mind her own kid getting that sick and she wouldn't mind him killing otherchildren with his illness. That's completely irresponsible. Lol I felt slightly threatened but it was kinda funny it seemed like she was trying to scare me or something. My son is the one that's protected. And I bet they would too unless they want their kids to die! I hope not!

Yep no problem. I took my 8 week old daughter (who is 3.5 now) go get her first shots, she got them. Not even a few hours later she spiked a 105 fever, went lethargic, would not eat, move her legs and was swollen from her knees down. She was rushed to Childrens Hospital where the only logical solution/cause (after bloodowork, spinal tap, MRI and CAT scan) was that she had a reaction to her vaccines. We have not given her, nor my youngest a single vaccine since. The risk of that outweighs any possible benefit to me. She *could* catch something yes, but I already know she *will* have a reaction. Because most reactions are genetic or run in famalies, it wasn't worth the risk to us to put either of them at risk for another reaction again.

I've actually kind of already explained it a bit, but at the risk of being redundant, lol, I don't feel comfortable with the ingredients IN the vaccines, I don't like the alterations they can causeto our immune systems, and I don't see the neccessity to inject harmful and potentially fatal chemicals into my young son's body out of fear of diseases that are either usually mild in severity, easily treatableor practical nonexistent. He is fed nutritiously, his diet includes mild probiotics, and if any concerns arise we have access to fine modern medical care at the drop of a hat. I trust that, if well taken care of, his body and immune systemwill do what it is naturally intended to do.

I think saying something like that is crossing a line IMO. BUT I do disagree that non vac. mothers rely on you or your children for disease protection. I don't know about other moms but I rely on my childs body/immune system, not some pharasudical vaccine that has just as much danger/risks as possible benefit. I could care less who is not vaccinated, it wouldnt affect my choice even a little bit. If there was an outbreak on polio, I would NEVER risk getting another vaccine for any of my children or myself. Regardless of what breaks out we will not go the vaccine route...ever.

I agree 100%. I see no reason to inject my child with the chemical compounds listed on the CDC's website! No reason what so ever. Their bodies are perfectly able to handle things on thier own, without medical intervention.

Now see, I also believe that great leaps and bounds in the nutitional competency of today's society as well as the standards of cleanliness and sanitation have had a big part in that...

That is a good reason. How scary!

It was very scary and I would never risk their lives like that again for possible protection of something that *could maybe possibly* happen.
