Well everyone is different. I had a c-section and I was in pain for a few days but good after that. I did not even take my pain medication.

I've never had a C section and hope toNEVR have one, but the pain afterwards from my 2 previous births was not that bad. With my son, I tore a little, and when I peed, it stung, but it healed in 4 days. I didn't have any pains after my daughter except a feeling of a brick in my stomach when I stood up. Vag delivery, on a scale from 1 - 10, 10 being the worst, 2.....

Ive only had one c-section and I healed great. After a week I was doing everything I did before, except exercise and stuff like that that the doc says not to do. Ended up giving my pain meds away cause I didnt need them.

my csection recovery was unbearable. but thats because it was infected before i even left the hospital and my dr's wouldnt listen to me and told me i was fine. needless to say after 4 dr's office trips and 1 to the ER, 2 weeks later it opened up on its own from the pocket of infection that everyone said didnt exist. had to heal from the bottom up

I delivered my first son by vaginal delivery and i tore but it really only hurt when i peed. I was up and walking shortly after delivering him.
My second son was born by a csection and i think that was a lot more painful. I didnt like not being able to get up right away after he was born.I was very thankful to have someone there to help m,e the first 2 days.

That's not true, either. I tore like hell with my youngest and while the discomfort hung around a little longer than my odler two, I imagine it's nothing NEAR a c-section incision.

i dont know about c-sections but vags can be tricky cause each one is diff like my 1st didnt tear nor cut but got stitchs to my benefit  and took forever to heal and horable pp bleeding! But my secound didnt tear nor cut and no stiches and recovered almost instantly with random pp bleeding.
