Why won't she eat?/Thrush

So my LO has thrush, got the meds for it last night and she took them after he 6pm feeding(took meds at 745) Well the next bottle around 1030 she completely threw up after she was done-all formula-she burped good and everything, it was almost 3 oz. Since then she hasn't been eating like normal, she won't finish her bottle but yet she still goes the same amount of time inbetween feedings! Usually theres atleast 1oz left. She is having plenty wet diapers and all but could the medicine take her appetite away? She's 4 weeks,5 days adjusted.

Maybe I'm just that first time mom worrying about it, but she had trouble gaining weight in the NICU so I have my reasonings. I called her Pedi but they have to call me back which usually takes a while!

Also, how do you know if the formula isn't right for her? She still takes BM but some formula too.

sounds like my baby , you might wana ask your doc on changing milk , i just took my daughter in and they dx her with gerd,she was on 2 diff formulas and finally they gave us similac sensitive RS. MY DAUGHTER WOULD THROW alot of milk up and not finsih her bottle . hope this helps

Thrush causes a baby to be in pain...idk about the throwing up part, but I do know thrush will make them not want to eat.

Maybe thats the problem then! I hope so.

I'll keep trying but if she keeps doing it I'm gonna ask for a diff. kind. I would like to use my free samples but I might not be able too! Formula is so damn expensive, BF didn't work out for us!

didnt work 4 us either mama.my doctor told me to use whatever and see how he reacts to it. i think i liked good start better but my cousin got me 5 cans of similac for 4 bucks a can and i couldnt hardly pass it up!!!!
