That's a very good question. I have never even thought of that.

I do know that the majority of candy bars and such always say that they have been used with machines that work with peanuts. I feel bad for people who are allergic to peanuts, they can't even eat candy bars.

Yeah, that sucks   I love my candy bars sometimes.

We got on the topic because he watched Kailee for a week in May when Matt and I went away and I wrote in ALL CAPS no peanut butter lol. Because she LOVES jelly sandwiches. He asked why and then we were talking about it.

If she reacts at all then you will knwo what it was. They say if a kid is allergic it will be noticable. I am sure she will be fine just keep an eye on her!

I bet she loved it

I want to give my son some too. My parents told me to rub some on the back of his hand to see if he had a reaction, but the reactions sometimes don't happen right away.
I want him to try a PB & J!

My son is 15 months old. He had peanut butter at 12 months. MIght have been a little before- Just gave him a little and seen what happend. If they are allergic to it at 1 yr 2 yr or 3 yr they were allergic from birth! Just keep an eye on them when you give it to them and if anything happens you will know its the peanut butter that did it.

I will probably wait a few weeks b/c he's had a lot of different foods over the past weekend.
Aren't the signs of a reaction a rash or difficulty breathing?

When you are comfortable I'd say then you can do it. I'd heard the Difficulty Breathing and Rash is really common for kids and allergies.
As long as you are paying attention to them and seeing if anythign is changing you will be fine
