Quoting mommy to 3 boys: im more into the classic/traditional names, and even though i do like some "trendy" names like Aaden. ... [snip!] ... names would've been Benjamin mikeal would've been - Stella Amora Thomas Rien = Megan Seraphina William Link = Juliet Summer
Quoting Air: I have to DISAGREE!!! Frankly I have to say this is only my opinion as much as what you said was only ... [snip!] ... ASH if ASHLEY IS YOUR NAME ( WHICH I'M GUESSING IT IS ) ASHLEY STARTED AS A BOY'S NAME BEFORE IT WAS EVER A GIRLS!!!!!!!I agree... My name is Jessica and I still got made fun of like nobodies business... And half my life everyone called me Jessy. And majority of those people still do call me that. Maybe those people were made fun of for different reasons... I was flat chested up until my 5th month of pregnancy. Just cause stupid kids are insecure does not mean you should change your mind about what you like for a name for your baby. We've decided on Macey Amanda for our little girl. My best friend is Stacey Amanda. I love her to death and really love her name, and wanted to incorporate it somehow in my daughters name. My husband came up with Macey, replacing the s and t. His initials are MAS and he wants to keep his initials with naming our children, so it works wonderfully. Now, the made up names? Some of them are really pretty. But some of them are downright rediculous. I knew a girl named Vaginal. (vah jin aL) Now that kid, I felt bad for... She was made fun of specifically for her name. So, be careful when naming your baby. Make it meaningful. Think about the name before you give it to them. Make sure it's something you won't mind saying for probably every single day of the rest of your life. And most importantly, don't make it difficult to pronounce from spelling... That's just annoying.

Quoting tigerlily: Oh my...... What in the world is wrong with people??
Quoting God: When picking a baby name, the most important thing to remember is that no matter what YOU think, it's ... [snip!] ... to think more about whether or not their child will appreciate the name instead of just how super cute they think it is. C.
Quoting Mrs. Kelly: FIRST. Let me say that boys names for girls; at this point in time who's to say what is proper and what ... [snip!] ... anything at all. Respect others wishes as to what they want to name thier children. --and just for you, I'll name my boy Sue.She can say w/e she wants. It's her opinion. If you dont like it, get over it. I dont agree with her entire post either but what can anybody do...nothing, its just an opinion.
Quoting Steffy: well i disagree with Ash as there are a lot of people with unisex names that have been successful kids ... [snip!] ... celebrities....could u imagine Angelina Jolie being called Emily, Denzel Washington being called James, Quentin Tarintino (sp)Alot of times those arent their real names, they're stage names.
Quoting abigail08: for my baby, i like the names Nico (short for Nicholas, pronounced Nee-Ko)and bradanfor boys and Keira ... [snip!] ... bradanfor boys and Keira and Ryleigh/Riley for girls. All of which are Irish names,as I am half Irish I think its relevant.I love Irish names. I think Declan is a great name for boys. I've found a list of Irish baby boy names at http://www.quickbabynames.com/meaning/index.php?page=search&s_res=GO&cid=353&stype=any&f_language_ex=Irish&hw_num=20&isvariant_ex=No
Quoting Specs06: I agree with all those they're right on! One thing I'd like to add: * giving your little girl a boy's ... [snip!] ... name. Or one that makes them sound like a moron ei: JezziKah for Jessica. Pleasant, thoughtful, naming, ---------- Ash
