re: Weird bug bite

Ticks can be anywhere. Do you have any outside cats that come around. It could be possible that they drug one near and it got to your son.

Baking soda works great to neutralize the toxins in the bite. You can use this on various different bites from other bugs, too. We've used the baking soda paste for wasp stings and helped out a lot.

We live in an apartment that doesn't allow pets. And I've never seen any stray cats or dogs around our neighborhood. I just don't know what it is, and it looks pretty much the same this morning.

Darn! No rubbing alcohol either. Another thing to add to my list. Grr you don't realize how important something is until you run out and need it....

Ok I took him to the clinic today and they said he is allergic to whatever bit him and gave him some benedryl (yay I dont need to get some!). And they also told me it was nothing serious and something about histamine and that the medicine should help. I am so relieved!!!

lol I have no kiddo's but I have been taking care of them so long I pretty much can call them! I am glad its nothing horrible!!!
