always sick

so, so far i've only gained like 15 lbs and im try8in not to gain more but its not working, but no matter what i eat, after i eat i feel like im gonna puke. is that normal? what can i do to stop it? its just like the last week.

Correct me if I'm wrong, but you are pregnant and trying not to gain weight??

I know I don't want to gain much weight, only b/c I was already 30lbs overweight when I became pregnant. I've gained about 17 so far, but I'm not stressing about it. Could the nausea be acid reflux? Maybe you could try smaller meals. You have to eat in order to keep you and baby healthy!

Acid reflux, I just got the same thing and tums seem to help me.

yeah i have acid reflux, but i take nexium for that. i guess it could be that though. now about the other, two years ago my husband was killed in iraq, and i put on alot of weight after that ( im a comfort eater), i was trying to loose it when i found out i was pregnant. the doctor told me that some women who are overweight dont need to gain much if any weight, so ive been trying not to pack it on. with my first son i gained like 60lbs and lost 40 the first month. i just dont want to gain to much, thats all.

I've gained 12lbs and I'm trying to gain more! my doctor says it's normal and that I will most likely put on more weight near the end of the pregnancy. you should just relax and be grateful you aren't extremely over-weight cause then you would gain a shitload of weight during your pregnancy.

I hear you, b/c honestly, I'm at 191lbs now, and I'm praying that I don't reach 200 before the baby comes. Then, I'll just have more weight to lose afterwards. My target is 150 or less after baby (I'm only 5'5"). But I'm not compromising my eating, though!
