My Loss

Hi i'm 18 years old and just found out i was pregnant last week. i was so excited when i found out i was pregnant because it's something i've wanted for a while. my boyfriend of 3 years wasn't very happy about it though and when i told him the first thing he said was whatare you going to do about it. that upset me but i had that hope he would come around in time. and he did, he was just starting to come around and then i miscarried on sat.
i was only 6 weeks into my pregnancy but i'm still really upset i never got to know if my baby was a girl or a boy or what colour eyes or hair she will have and what kind of personality she would have and if she would take after her mummy or daddy. this is my first miscarriage and i don't think i will get another chance to have a baby because my partner is very serious about not being ready ( mind you he has a 6 year old boy already) i'm just so angry at myself for loosing my baby

It is not your fault. I know it is hard, I have had 2 and I always ask myself why.

I am sorry for your loss mama, I have been there exactly the same as you just a little age different, well my SO and I decided that the MC happened for a reason and that god knew what he was doing, and that it will happen when the time is right and god knows all the important facts....glad to say about a year later we started to concieve and pre-vailed and now in less then 3 wks we will have a lovely little girl.....don't worry it will happen in good time <33

Im sorry for your loss I also had 2. There are alot of ways to remember your pregnancy though. I have a angel braclet with october birthstone for my first one. It hangs from my rearview mirror. I also have the ribbon for pregnancy and infant loss. Its hard to deal but talking about it always made me feel better.

not to be nosey but how old is you SO? If you are 18 and he has a 6 year old hemust be older than you!! I had a MC and it took me 5 years but I have a beautiful baby boy named Harley

hi thank you everyone for your thoughts it means alot to know i'm not the only one that feels this way.
alot of people keep a box with baby stuff but is it stupid to do it if i was only 6 weeks into the pregnancy. i just need to do something to help because my boyfriend wonders why i'm so upset.

he is 28. i no theres 10 years age difference but we are both at the same maturity and we get along so well, hes helped me through alot of hard times.. i wish i was good enough to have a child with him though

no, it's not stupid at all. if you have anything having to do with that pregnancy, it's ok to keep it.

Same as me and my hubby!! there is exactly 10 years between us and when we got together and I didnt much care for the immature boys my age!! He is the one that I had my MC with and we fought together for 5 years to get our son!!

i know exactly hos u feel nd im sorry.
trust it does get better as time pass but its always going to be a part of u.
as ur s.o when time is right he'll come around ..

i hope your pregnancy goes well and you deliver a healthy baby. i hope one day i'm as lucky as you hopefully it doesnt take 2 years though.
sometimes i want a family of my own so much i nearly want to just make him give me one but if i push him i will loose him and i dont want that so i better not. i know it probably sounds really selfish but if you knew the whole story you may see where i am coming from.
