We're having a big family cookout by the lake because there's an air conditioned building out there and it's really nice. It's the same place i had my baby shower so everyone knows where it is.

I'm ordering a Winnie the Pooh cake pan from birthdaydirect.com, then i'm making her cake myself also. Homemade cakes always taste better than store bought to me.

a good theme could be party like a rock star my cuz did thats for her son birthday last year all the kids had a blast

sorry for being so late, Lydias was tinklebell, then my little pony. It was all my hubbys side of the family. I dont have that many friends so its always been a small get together. For my BFF we were gonna do her babyshower a rock n roll theme. That would be pretty cool. You can get stirophone cut out guitars as center pieces and see if you have a party store were they have guitar candy molds or candy. Black n white or/and silver. I wish Layla would have been a boy! Though I love her to death. LOL! IDK what to do for her. I have a bit more friends now so ill probably do both their b-days in Nov since Lydia was Oct and Layla is Dec. I really dont care for the gifts, I just want them to have memories. LOL!

we had 2 parties!!!! her bday was on a weekday and we wanted to make sure she celebrated w/ her loved ones and then of course something fun on her actual day! so we went to chucky cheese on her actual bday she had a blast had pizza for the 1st time and of course cake!! we were there for 6 hrs playing games and of course on the toys with her first she literally played until she laid on the floor in chucky cheese and passed out lol. then she had a huge party on the weekend lots and lots of food!!! 2 cakes one for her guests and the opf course her own!!! tons of games and she had soooo many gifts we didnt open them at the party we actually did it the next day and it took her dad and I 2 hrs to open them all and of course she played with all the tissue paper in the bags and didnt care for any of her actualy gifts! of course her 2nd party was sesame street themed to!!

We just plan to throw a big casual BBQ with family and friends when we get to that point, with a birthday cake and ice cream. And yes, we plan to serve alcohol for the adults.

Iam throwing my daugther a tea party too, we are doing Alice in Wonderland since her name is Alice and she was named after the Disney movie.
