Officially decided I'm naming my little girl Skye Amaryllys...my husband is not a big fan of the middle name, but doesn't hate it either... but our agreement was he got to pick the name if it was a boy and i got to pick it if it was a girl...his choice for a boy was Camden Alan, i'm not personally a fan of Camden but i didn't tell him cuz it was his decision...kinda bummed he's not more supportive of my choice...but i absolutely adore the name. it has allot of meaning

How about Sky Amaryllis? That is the proper spelling.

I wouldn't be supportive of an atrociously spelled name either.

I don't understand why you have to go through here and say mean things about names people obviously love. How do you think most of the names you deem APPROPRIATE got started? Not everyone appreciates your rude honesty, so maybe you could be a little less harsh or not say anything at all. Most people want to name their children something a little different so when Sarah or Amy are called in class they don't have to wonder if it's their name being called or the one of the 7 other little girls their age. I'm really not trying to cause drama but your posts are rude and offensive and I'm sure a lot of these women here would agree. Not sure why you see it appropriate to be so mean but what ever your reason, it would be appreciated if you stopped. Please and Thank you.

I love the spellings, if you love the names I say go for it  They are beautiful names  the only suggestion i would make is with how you spelled sharlet, honestly kids are mean and the word harlot is so similar...i would be worried about mean kids as she grew up...

Well first off, my kid isn't named Sarah or Amy, nor is it my name. Secondly, she did say "what do you think" so that is asking for an opinion, and I gave it. Third if you need to explain what something should be that's a good clue something is ridiculous. It's cruel and selfish to saddle a child with a name like that, it makes them look like an idiot. People forget they are naming a person besides themselves that will have to deal with the repercussions of their parents action as they grow up. Love that name so much, lets see some of these people make it THEIR names and deal with it. I'd totally be cool if an adult knowingly picked it for themselves because they are making a cognitive decision to affect their own life not someone else's. If she'd have said Charlotte or even Century I would have just thought Century was a bit odd but gone with it. It is a word not a name and can be misspelled, it's like someone saying "Well I think hhxjejdiiwwjok is cool, how about we use that instead and say it like 'apple' from now on!" And finally I am not here to kiss the back end of you or any whiny broken record newb, now or ever. Simple as that. Good day and you're welcome.
