Is it just the messed up truth?

posted 30th Jun
Are teenage moms just bound to stop having "regular" friends? I feel like all my friends that don't have kids or who aren't pregnant are just disappearing.   They just can't seem to understand my 5 month old son can't go to the beach or go to the movies & it sucks.

But on the bright side, I find out if my godbaby is a girl or boy on Wednesday!

it's not just teenage moms. I'm 24, and a lot of my "regular" friend disappeared when I had my daughter. However, they were replaced by friends that do have kids, and we've all grown very close. It's nice to have friends to share stories with, and they understand.

Yeah, well it sucks but I can already tell my mommy friends are ALOT closer to me, even now. We just don't have time for the drama anymore.

I can see that - I am pregnant and already some of my friends seem to be leaving me out of things they do - just because I can't get loaded doesn't mean I don't want to hang out anymore!
My friends WITH children are checking up on me and wanting to get together, so that is good at least...I can't wait until my spinster childless friends get pregnant...

It does suck. However, as my old friends are starting to have kids, they are starting to come around again. It's kind of funny. Call me a bitch, but I usually just blow them off. They weren't there for me when I needed them, and I don't like part-time friends.
