Fair enough. I had a mirror for bubba when he was in his carrier seat. I'll just have to get another!

I don't know how I could survive without a mirror! I have to watch him all the time lol.

I know in my case I only have a forward facing carseat and cannot afford another one or I would still keep Zach in a rear facing.

i admit i did it a little early to. i know i'm bad and everything but she used to absolutly hate car rides,but once i turned her forward she quit crying by atleast half which kind of ended up being better for the driver trying to concentrate on driving. She wasn't really fond of toys back there or anything either.

oh plus she was always a reallly reallly strong and big girl so i guess i wasn't crazy about it. I know you're all going to try to prove that rear facing is better here and i know it is and totally agree,but i just couldn't stand the crying anymore @ a year.

I doubt anyone will   it's a personal decision and I think everyone in this thread respects the choices of others.

true, it's nice here. On some forums people just start attacking me cuz i don't do things their way. i just didn't want to start anything,lol.

lol actually people do attack on bg....quite often! But I'm glad people in this thread are nicer  

I turned Jake around at a year, but he's huge and met the physical requirements at 6 months lol... I knew there were benefits to ERF, but not really too much, but knowing what I know now, with this next baby, they will be ERF til at least 18 months..

but hey, I can admit while what I did was legal, and the bare minimum, there was a safer option that because of a lack of education, I didn't do... I really don't like when people fool themselves into thinking ERF is not safer because it only harms the child if the parent ignores the facts..
