Ex's and when is it right to stay.

Ok i have been with my recentex for a little over a year. We have lived together for about a year and it has been getting harder every day to get through the day with out fighting. He is very spoiled and when something needs to be done for him i am always the one toget up and do it and all he does is treat me like crap and seems to not appreciate my time and efforts. I finally broke it off with him 2 weeks ago and i have now moved out of our old place. I am in decision mode if i should stay to work with him or not. I bow down to his every need if it is money or just to get something for him, i do it. The only way to get him to stop being mean is to basically tell him i am done and i dont want to talk to him anymore. I almost feel like he is keeping me around just becaue its comfortable and while i am away he can do what ever he wants. I am just not sure what to do or if he is even the person i should be waiting around for. Any thoughts?

Move on hon, I was in a very similar situation for two years with someone...get out while you can. I did, and it was the best decision ever, because if I hadn't I never would have met my hubby ;).

RUN! Dont let this guy get away with this! You are too good for him and he's only realizing it cause you are gone! My ex was like that and I was with himfor 5 years! 5 YEARS! Best decision I ever did was leave his ass! Its been 4 years since I dumped him and He still calls every once in a while to tell me he's never for a girl like me! and u know what I say! Well when you do you treat her right and you wont have to deal with this shit again! lol I've been married 2 years to a man that does treat me right and loves me no matter what! have a son and another on the way! Was the best decision i ever made! Good luck!

Thanks ladies. I am just feel that i am so comfortable with him and that i cant let him go. My family hates him and i dont know why i dont listen to them.

Wow. yeah i really dont want to put up with this for the rest of my life. i love him but i am finally like realizing the true person he is. i have been so blinded by it all

I would say this to anyone...>LISTEN to your family! Nine times out of ten they will be right about people you date! To this day, my husband is the ONLY guy I have been with that my parents have ever liked.

Yeah, my ex kept trying to get me back over time too...Apparently he "never realized what he had" and he would "never find another girl like me"...hahaha damn straight!

Well thanks. and oh yeah. well my mom is normally a good judge of character and she has always thought somethign was different about him and then he started to treat me bad in front of my parents and they did not like that about him at all

Yeah i dont think any girl will ever put up with him like i can.. unless she is in the mood to be a mother to a 21 year old guy. He wants a mom to be his girlfriend to take care of him but to not control him like his mom would.. he is very hypocritical
