when is teen TTC okay...

I think the only time that a teen should attempt to have a child is if theopportunityto have children become less/non-existent when you're older... I've known a few people who had a baby because they we're told by their doctor that they couldn't have children after a certain (young) age... my moms best friend had her only daughter at 17 because she had some type of cancer and was told that if she wanted children then would be the best time... she had her daughter and then at 19 her cancer came back and had to have a hysterectomy.. thought I'd but my view out there...

My chances of getting pregnant were slim to none, but I still didn't TTC.

my personal opinion is that if your married then its fine(marriage is legal in some countries at 16 without parental permission) but if your not then wait until 20+. I know there are circumstances where it is different and being 18/19 and TTC is fine in those cases, but in the general circumstances thats my view.

I was 17 when i fell pregnant(accidently) and i'm 18 now, if i hadnt been nearly 18 when i fell pregnant theni thinki would have looked into adoption.
EDITED-soryr it was meant to be that i would have looked into adoption not that i wouldnt have.

I mean if I was told when I were younger that I would probably never have children when I turned a certain age I would try..

Younger then 18? Never. If you have a college degree, SO has one too along with both of you working good jobs I don't care.If you need your parents or welfare to support your kid don't TTC.

I still didn't because this happened to me haha. I'm happy I'm having her, but I would've been happy either way.

oh your giving your baby up for adoption?...I mean its a great decision I think its wonderful when someone gives a childless family a baby...I'm too slefish to do that I give you props

idk maybe its because the people I know who have done it because of theresituationsmake me believe its okay..I'm glad this hasn't turned into a drama thing! ...I'm glad people have been honestly answering!

if they can support them, then go ahead. its their life and their decision until i have to support them when theyre on welfare.

Never...adoption is always an option so is freezing your eggs and getting a surrogate.

sorry i worded that wrong. I was trying to figure out how to say it and i typed out half a sentence and then changed my mind on how to sya it and started typing another sentence(i was going to say i dont think i would have been able to handle it and i would have looked into adoption. But i stopped at 'i dont think i' and then started writing what i wrote)
