I just dont think it matters, I find it stupid that alot of teens only get married because they end up pregnant, and of course it would bring shame to the family.



Alot of them divorce by the age of 21.

its different if your only getting married because you are pregnant. If they truly love each other and they want to get married then kudos to them. If they can support themselves then i see no reason why not. My own mum was married at 16 and pregnant at 18(she TTC'd) and my parents have been together for nearly 24yrs in august. In high school i had the youngest parents and i also was one of the veyr few whose parents were actually together and sitll married.

ETA- i know it was different back then but there are a lot of couples the age my parents are who are getting divorced now too....

I don't believe marriage is always the best thing..I mean if you honestly want to do it because love is the reason then I think its right...but when you get married just because a baby is in the mix now and you don't want to be embarrassed then that's a little bad

Well I have been with my husband for 3 years next week. Which I got with him when I was 15 [18 now]....... We decided to get pregnant again after a miscarriage [which was a mistake] and while i was pregnant the 2nd time i realized i wanted to get married some day to him and he said he did too.... so we ended up getting married while i was pregnant, not BECAUSE i was pregnant......

Do you thinks its stupid that i TTC after a miscarriage that was an accident?????

i agree getting married to have kids isn't the answer .....it's a tough job married or not...marriage prolly complicates the situation if it's with the wrong person

if a miscarriage helped you realize you wanted a baby then thats your reason 4 it.....

i had a misscarriage and i wanted to TTC afterwards because i felt so empty. I'm glad i didnt becaus ei was extremely immature at the time(and didnt realise what a child took) i ended up falling pregnant 6 months later accidently again(both times were on BC and using condoms) but i feel i am a lot more mature and ready to handle a child now then i was before. A lot happened in that 6 months. I'm thankful my parents didnt force me to marry the POS i fell pregnant too...

I think TTC'ing after a misscarriage is a touchy subject....there are some cases where i believe it MAY be ok depending on the maturity of the people involved. I wouldnt flat out say its wrong.

yah marriage is for life.....and it's gotta be done right and once....i mean it doesn't have to people make mistakes

but it should be done once it's a life time commitment that people should respect.....marriage should be for love....not for money

I dont think so..me and my fiance talked about that with this baby...and we decided that if anything were to go wrong with this pregnancy god forbid that we would try as soon as possible...

i only meant if it is a marriage between 2 people who really do love each other and want to spend their lives together and arent doing it just to have kids, or just because the women is pregnant. I would hate to be married to someone i didnt love or want to be with just because i fell pregnant to him, it would make life hell....
