Monday night at midnight started having contractions 3-4minutes apart
4:30am went to L&D only progressed by 5% making me 2cm and 85%
went home tried to sleep but couldnt so went walking around wal mart with my mommy...got home took a tylonel pm so i could nap...woke up at 6pm went to the bathroom and then just laid in bed...6:30ish i felt a pop and contractions were stronger...my water broke and had dark meconium in it   Got to L&D and they got me into a room...gave me a dose of Nubain to take the edge off...Got the epi when i was 6cm at about 1:30am i was dilated to a 7 and stalled there for a few hours...the moniter stopped picking up my contractions so they thought I stopped contracting they did the internal and i was still contracting and slowly making changes 5:40am the nurse tells me im going to start pushing on the next contraction by then my epi had wore off lol...i pushed for 2hrs and he came into the world at 7:35am on June 24th...5days late lol...weighing 7lbs 8oz and 19in long
I didnt get to hold or see him after i delivered him. They grabbed him and started suctioning everything out of his lungs and then quickly took him to the nursery to start him on oxygen and draw some blood and do chest x-rays....about an hour later i was able to go see him and then another hour after that he was able to come and stay in the room with us...and now he is perfectly healthy baby boy

Thanks ladies...but i do have a question...lol...i didnt tear or anything but my who-ha is extremely swollen...does anyone know an estimate on how long the swelling will last?? i asked the nurse and she didnt say  i want to be able to walk without waddling haha
