Lol I'm sort of confused about where genuine begins and ends at the moment.

A very close friend of mine, who is.. emotionally stable for the most part has barricaded himself in a room and is refusing to come out, that's his way of dealing with MJ's passing. Had he not been in Ukraine I'd have gone over to see him in a heartbeat, he's hardly the sort of person who throws tantrums to get attention, as far as I know he wasn't that much of a fan or anything. He's been locked in since 4pm and it's 10 pm now. His reaction is.. weird to me but I presume it's genuine, I wonder if he took cigarettes with him, because if not and he's running on one pack, he'll be out before midnight.

I find it difficult to believe that someone who made fun of him while he was alive would suddenly really, genuinely care that he died. Those that loved/respected/cared for him while he was alive, I can see being genuine in their hurt/grief/upset/whatever.

The coworker I posted about crying is an attention whore. She didn't cry when her own father died, because going to his funeral, "used up major PTO." But when whenever one of us walks by her door, she bursts into fresh tears, moaning about, "Poor Michael." In between, I can hear her talking on the phone like normal, laughing even. That's why I used this guy---->  If hers was genuine, I'd feel more sympathetic towards her.
