Have you asked your doctor about letting it pass natrually?

I let my losses pass natrually.

You NEED it if the baby has not completely passed or you can get a SERIOUS infection. The baby is already gone, an abortion is killing the baby, they are two totally different things.

The infection would render you infertile before the procedure ever would.

ETA: With one of mine, it passed naturally and I had a D&C for the 2nd.

Some can, some cant. If part of hers has passed and others havnt she needs to get it done for her health. Im sorry for your loss by the way, both you and the OP. I let mine pass naturally and I didnt need the D&C.

I know, but I mean is the procedure the same?

Ok, so you have been through this. I am sorry about that. Did you have a easy time conceiving again?

another thing is that i kno a lot of ladies who get pregnant faster after a d&c if u r trying

I as well lost my lil angel at 6 weeks. like these ladies have said you can get an infection if everything is not passed naturally. I chose to get aD&C it was pysically painless. I got slight cramping afterward and some discharge and blood, but it is nothing like an abortion cause your baby is no longer alive, and also when getting an abortion the cut the baby and than vacumn it out. they wont be vacumning out anything during a d&C they scrape and basically take it out. I got to have the remains cremated and put into a necklace. . if that helps any.

I have been trying to get one since wednessday. I would not want to just hope that everything is out of me or else a infection can make you infertile.
