Thanks   It was very exciting! He feels so much more real to me now that we've seen him (actually looking human LOL) and we know that he's a boy. I'm so excited about him now!

I guess it sounds bad, but I just didn't feel connected to this pregnancy right away like I did with Emery. I'm just so excited that he feels so much more a part of our lives now  

Hello ladies. Iam christal, iam 18. On Oct. 22, 09 i had Natalie N. it was a VBAC and i would do it all over again.. the feeling of felt her going out it was wonderful!!

Thats the same way I felt about my daughter. Even after I saw her on the u/s, and found out I was hadving a little girl, I never really felt like I was going to bea mommy or was super excited to be having a baby. I didn't get all that till after I had her.

I read your profile and you only mention having this one baby? How old are your other children?

For me, with my daughter it was instantaneous. As soon as I saw that BFP she was mine, I was her mom. I just sort of assumed it was always like that, that it was supposed to be like that. I felt guilty for weeks after I got pregnant with this one that not only was I not attached to it (him) but that it didn't even seem real to me that I was pregnant.

I'm completely glad I'm not alone.

No your not alone, I've talked to LOTS of other moms that have felt the same way. Usualy its the first pregnancy though that your a little detatched from and the second you feel more sooner cause you've gone through it before and know how wonderfull its going to be.

But everybodys different.

Oh, well if she's your first, you just had a vaginal birth, not a vbac.
