Quoting Annie*:“ There are two midwives in the practice that I am in now. Do you think that will make a difference? I ... [snip!] ... I've had to go through that hardship once, and do not want it again. I want a fully baked baby, not even two weeks shy of that.”i dont know if within the practice will make a difference, because they probably have the same policy's. But it can't hurt to ask. I di understand that. I would feel uncomfortable with a 38 weeker as well.
Quoting Chloe's *PSMama =):“ my dr's was majors jerks. Told me the average woman couldnt give birth vag. to a 10 pound baby; i ... [snip!] ... a vbac but they are saying they are highly doubtfull ill be able to, i dont even have a visible scare anymore, its gone.”
Quoting tantriclemons☮ebfb:“ i bet if someone pm's mara she will make it a stickey so if anyone wants to lol”
Quoting Annie*:“ No that made perfect sense to me! Thank you. I actually haven't seen my C-Section report. Is there anyway I can ask them for a copy for my own records?”
Quoting lil mama x 3:“ i had twins last april in 2008, and i had both natural and a emergencey c section. and my c section got ... [snip!] ... kid, i cant be running all over with him and have a c section at the same time!!. im a lil nervous to give birh again though!!!”

Quoting Just Us Girls♥EBFB:“ I found something in one of these site about how to ask for it.....O man where was that. I'll look for you k and I link what I fine ”
Quoting Just Us Girls♥EBFB:“ So was your c/s planned then?? Or did you make the dision after you had already gone into labor??”
Quoting Chloe's *PSMama =):“ it was planed; but they day i was there for my c-section i was going into labor anyways so i thought c-section would of been safer just in case she was too big”
Quoting 1+1 on the way!:“ I was able to find a new dr that will do a VBAC! I am sooo excited!! Thank you so much for this post ... [snip!] ... a natural birth and after all my complications I was unable to do so! I hope this one I make it to a natural vaginal delivery!”
Quoting Just Us Girls♥EBFB:“ O your welcome, thats wonderful. It's good to here that you were able to find a supportive doctor so ... [snip!] ... help you go all the way through with it? Is it something that they support regularly or did they make an exception for you?”I havent seen her yet. But they have no restrictions on VBACs. My previous dr tried to make me feel better about not even trying and it almost convinced me to do it again. The hospital DOES allow VBACs but the office I went to has a policy against it. I dnt agree with that because that doesnt let drs practice what they learned.
