Quoting Mohani:“ I haven't signed anything, but I've also been advised by other nurses in other practices that I need ... [snip!] ... but talk to the OB about my wishes some more. I've got an appt in a few hours. I'm going to try to get her to re consider.”
Quoting BreannaTITSORGTFO:“ you need to take charge; take someone with you who knows your wishes. Tell them you will not sign a c section consent form until you are 41 weeks +. Ask them for a trial of labor consent.”
Quoting jaiden & kalia's momma:“ I had my first born via c-section due to the baby's weight and pre-eclampsia. He was born 2 weeks early. ... [snip!] ... this VBAC, as well as breastfeeding. I've never been more terrified and completely sure about something in my entire life. : D”I believe it is better to try for a VBAC first off and if you end up with c/s, at least you know you tried as opposed to scheduled c/s again and regretting not trying later on. My OB monitored me carefully while I labored trying for a VBAC and I just got stuck like I did with my first so I ended up with c/s anyways.
