thanks! I'm so glad it did too. I was convinced I'd be in labor forever like I was with my son. But once I relaxed it went by so fast, it was great  .

I honestly dont know if i could so a homebirth! I personaly like being in a hospital and the after stay in the hospital but i just want to have my personal freedom to do what i want without any pressure. thats why i am going to labor at home for as long as possible with my husband as my support and coach

I would love a home birth but hubby is too nervous about having a VBA2C at home and it'd be hard to find a midwife for it. I really love my doctor though so I'm good with the hospital delivery this time and hopefully after having this birth vaginally hubby will be more open to home birth next time around, since we'll have more of an idea what to expect.

If i had your doctor i wouldnt be worried about going to the hospital. the doctors here though allow vbac but dont really support it. I dont wanna be on a time line i dont wanna have to be monitored 24/7 and even if the doc says its ok you gotta deal with nurses. I dont want all the interventions as i feel that they lead to c sections. So im just going to do it at home. My midwife said to be if your going to do all the labor at home why even bother going to the hospital for the very end. you might as well be where you are comfortable. I think if this was my third baby my hubby would be nervous too though. So i understand where he is coming from.

i guess everybody is different! but i did tell my mom that if no one will deliver me naturally then i am having this baby at home and my husband will be my labor coach and after the baby is out i will call 911 for them to come pick me up lol

I know I don't post in here often, I'm usually on my phone and this touch screen totally jacks up my right thumb nail, Lol! But I just wanted to voice my appreciation for the personal experiences, information, and advice that has been shared here. I really feel inspired and empowered reading through this thread and others like it. It's a bit of a shock realizing how in the dark so many NOT involved in a diverse community like this are. I'm very grateful for the knowledge I've gained through BG and ladies like all of you who have given me a sense of comradery almost. A feeling that I'm not alone in my ideals and beliefs. It has really given me a stronger confidence in the choices I've made and my ability to voice them to my family, friends, and physicians. So far it seems I am on my way to my own uninvasive VBAC *crosses fingers* and would like to credit a good deal of the success I've found so far (in finding a VBAC friendly dr, learning how to achieve success in my delivery, and the education needed to feel confident through it all) from this site. You ladies are amazing and really are what these forums are all about. Thank you again!

Okay, the polish is officially rubbed off of the corner of my nail. Lol!!

I'm not as worried about going to the hospital I just like the idea of laboring and delivering in my own home. It's still something I'd like to experience eventually though this time I'd just love to experience a vaginal birth wherever I can

Hi girls, just wanted to pop in with some MUST READ articles about the pelvic floor. Seriously I was blown away by this, it's totally different from what I thought I knew about Kegels, birth preparation and pelvic floor recovery, "sneeze-pee" incontinence after birth, etc.
I'm going to print them out for my midwife! This is seriously incredible info, and really simple excercises that can make all the difference in your birth, recovery, and life in general. I'm posting these in ALL my chat threads!!
Read away.

With my first pregnancy my son was breech which is why i had a c-section.. my doctor kept saying that might have something to do with me having a small pelvis (i dont believe this because when he came out the umbilical cord was wrapped around his neck, i think thats the reason he didnt flip)
Anyway, but i was wanting to know just incase that was the reason, things i can do to losen or widen my pelvic bones!
TIA

I havent seen the doctor yet! but she is a VBAC doctor, i am going to interview her at my appointment
definitely not going back to the doctor i was going to before   she scheduled my c-section at 38 weeks 5 days because she believed i was going to go into labor early and was no sense in waiting until 40 weeks but i ended going into labor on my own a couple of days before my c-section but he still didnt flip

very interesting i have notice if i sneeze twice in a row i pee a little. I have no ass and since it helps with labor and positioning i will be starting my squats tonight even though i hate them lol. I wonder if lunges would work also hmmm.
