I cant imagine what you are feeling Its like you have put all this time and effort and practice into this and it is almost finally here. Kinda like graduation. That is awesome you are dilating already that is a very good sign!!! Are you delivering in a hospital? Its funny that everyday it gets closer but yet feels so far away. Have you read any books or taken any classes? Im wondering what will be helpful to me. Im planning on doing hypno babies for sure i watched videos online and it looks amazing!

I haven't read any "specific" books, I have done my share of web research and Dr consultations that's for sure! lol I have also talked to several mid-wives and Dr's and I guess I'm just lucky enough that every mid-wife, Dr & hospital I talk to are all VBAC supportive! I mean supportive too! Not one of them have tried to discourage me from trying. If anything repeat c-section is the last thing they all want! I think having support like that definitely is the biggesst motivator I have besides my family:-) So I think either way this ends we know we've done our best and tried! I just wish I had a crystal ball to tell me exactly the way this is gonna end!:-) And other than dialation I don't have any signs of labor 
O and yes I'm gonna deliver at the hospital.

Congratulations!! June 3rd is a great day to have a baby! My first son was born 2 years ago today!!

SO angry with my 30 wk appointment!! My hospital does NOT have a VBAC ban so I can go ahead with planning a Vaginal birth. Well this appointment she wasn't so nice. She went on to ask me "DO you realize the risks with a VBAC!" I am like ARE YOU SERIOUS?! I said YES! And I also realize there are MUCH MUCH higher risks with repeat c-sections!! This is NOT open for discussion! She then goes on to say "Well I can't promise you that a Dr will even be willing to deliver you at all!" I said I guess I will deal with that when it comes! They can't deny me!!I can't remember the last time I have been so annoyed!! She tells me to start off with you know a C-section is a GREAT option!!! You should really think about it! WHATEVER! I guess if you like to be SLICED open against your WILL!

Nope that was my actual MD!! I was so annoyed by the time I left!! But I am sticking to my guns and I don't care what she says!! They can't turn me away, when I need medical attention they HAVE to give it to me!!

I would use her as my motivation to do this vaginally even more than before. what a bitch man. I hate uneducated doctors that try to talk to you like your stupid. This is the exact reason i have chosen a midwife and why i am planning a home birth. I dont wanna be around those people.

Yeah. I am going to go thru with this whether she wants to support me or NOT! I am just so angry she treats me like I am stupid and I would be willing to put my child in danger!! Its a much higher risk of doing repeat c-sections than it is VBAC's! I mean the first response she had was "C-section is a GREAT way to go!" ARE YOU KIDDING ME?! No its not!! Since when?! So yeah. I am going to just ignore her and pretend like I don't even hear her.
