You mean induce and don't say anything about it. According to ICAN, using pit ups the rate to like 6%.

My first labor I had pit for 12 hours before my epi. And my epi 30 minutes before my c-sec.

htat is so funny that is exactly me too i was induced at 8 with pit labored for 12 hours got to 4 got the epi finally and then he said if i didnt dilate in 30mins he was giving me a c section and i think from being so doped up on the medicine before the epi and the fact that everyone kept telling me i would have one i gave in. Nothing was wrong with either one of us. But my son was also 10lbs 11oz 19 1/2 in long so i struggle with the fact that im 5'3 and 120 pre pregnancy i dont know if i could have had a vaginal birth anyway. ugh but im going to TTC next month im really excited about having a vbac i already found a doc and i refuse to have another c section unless one of us is in distress.

The doctor checked me at 1pm on monday and I was 4cm and then again at 3pm and I was 9.5cm and ready to push! I was so nervous! My doctor told me that I had 1 hour to get her out other wise I needed to have a csection. We started pushing and her head was someway on my pubic bone that she wasnt moving at all!! So an hour came and he told me that I would have to have a c-section. I cried. He told me that he would try the vaccum first. While he was getting the vaccum ready I pushed one time and her head came out and then one more push and there she was! A beautiful 7lb 1oz 19.5 in baby girl! I did it VBAC and Im soooo proud of myself. She is so beautiful and a great baby!
