Hey Ladies! Welcome to the ClomidCrew thread! Hereis where we can share our experiences relating to Clomid as well as any questions anyone has. For some it's harder to coneceive than others so we need that added help, as well as the added support.

(Of course not ONLY are the ladies on Clomid welcome, but anyone and everyone who's interested in learning about, waiting to start it or even thinking about taking it. I am still waiting for A/F after miscarriage (almost 7 weeks ago)
I take 50mg on dayd 5-9 but until i get A/F im stuck!
when i start this will b round 2, i got preg the first month i tried clomid

how old do you have to be to be perscribed clomid? My mom and I were talking about it (she took it waaaay back when) and my gyno and I were talking about a bit during my last appointment.

I'm not sure about age wise.... I think it's probably at the Dr's discretion. Most Dr's don't prescribe any type of fertility meds until one has been trying for at least a year... In your case I think it would be different. Obviously you would have to take different routes of insemination, but I still think they would have to trydifferent ways and tests before just putting you on something. Unless that is you have been diagnosed with some type of infertility off the bat, then they would go about the fertility treatments differently.

Have you and your SO talked about any plans as far as what ways to go about getting pregnant? (I'm not trying to be nosey, just curious, my sister and her SO are thinking they're going to start in the next year or so  )

We plan on using a known donor and doing at home insemination. We just can't find a donor, and all of my 40 some odd opks so far have come up neg. So I'm worried I don't ovulate... =/

You very well may not ovulate... what time of day are you taking them?

If you don't care about having an unknown donor, the fertility clinic right by the river in the downtown area has a registry of sperm donors in their catalog and you can browse them online and search out criteria you would be looking for. I'm not sure how much it costs to go this route though.

afternoon-evening... never with my first pee in the morning, and I don't drink anything atleast 4hrs prior to taking it. I can take a pic of the ones I use if you like. =)

My sister and her SO are wanting to start a family sometime soon, and she was just diagnosed a week or so ago with PCOS, so she's going to have a long road ahead of her too!

I have a cyst on my right ovary at the moment. I go in in 6wks to have it looked at again. I wish her and her SO lots of luck and baby dust =)

Clomid is kicking my ass this round like seriously
