i took my last clomid pill yesterday so i started to BD and will prolly keep it up (no pun intended) til my CD21 bloodwork.

Thanks everyone! Anya has gladly offered to take over the thread, she's going to copy and paste it into a new one and when she gets that up we'll post a link on the main page and at the end. I'll still be in there tho, I'm not going anywhere! I just don't feel as though I should be running it, but i'll add my 2 cents in when needed, you can count on it!  

My doc decided to do further testingsince after 5 rounds we still didn't conceive. We did the SA on my hubby, which came back normal. Then he said the HSG is the next step to rule out anything with me. Turns out we found blockage rather than ruling it out.

So the next step for me is an u/s on monday. He's going to look and see what everything looks like. He's going to look for if my tubes are "liquidy" or if they are just normal. If they're liquidy laproscopy probably isnt' going to work, but if they look normal it probably means it's endometriosis and can possibly be scraped and cleaned. So we'll see after monday. If the "cleaning" doesn't work then IVF would be our only option. IUI wouldn't work because the egg still has to be fertilized in the tubes and if they're blocked they can't meet. If we do have to do IVF it'll probably be on hold for a little bit until we can save up enough money and still be comfortable.

The hospital my dr works at is a catholic hospital, therefore he can't do what normally would be done as far as infertility work. He does however work with a nother group of people not affiliated with the hospital, so he's going to talk to hte head nurse and she'll get together some options for me.

We don't have RE's at this hospital but they do work with some up in minnesota and down in illinois (both wouldn't be that bad as far as traveling if it meant doing the IVF and guaranteeing us a baby) but the one from minnesota does travel to a hospital about 45 mins away from me. HE said they were just here last wednesday and will be back in OCtober so that's not that far away. My dr is going to get some info about their seminars where we can learn all about it and also learn financal amounts and guarantees and such.

So that's where I am right now. It's been a horrrrrrible day for me, but I went out to eat tonight and had a couple drinks and feel a little better. I really appreciate all of the replies and such, thanks ladies!!

I have to say your very strong! When I found out SO's count was low, I cried and nearly gave up. If it wasn't for the support from the ladies on BG I don't think I'd TTC right now.

I have kinda a dumb question, Once your tubes are 'cleaned' will you ovulate on your own or will you still need Clomid?

Do you have any idea yet where in Illinois you might have to go? My RE has very good success rates although I don't like him. I know some RE's have payment plans and all that, mine does.
