never trusted it. longest my hubby has been gone is 15 months because they got extended. and he had already had his R&R so I went another year without seeing him.

That's exactly why I don't trust it either. That and every time my mom would tell me she was coming home, well, she never came. Of course she wasn't doing deployments but rather missions so it varied but still. She would get word on something and it would NEVER end up being what she was originally told. Maybe they lied to us on purpose for all I know. I doubt that would happen now and with his MOS but yeah, anything is possible =/

My heart is breaking for Amy and 1/9. I went on her IG and she was ready for the countdown now she has to attend his funeral.

Are you on CL? If so try checking out Ladies of Lejeune fb page every week they have something to go to or do event wise, tonight they are doing a free cardio kickboxing class at 7 I'm going and all the other events I've been too by them have been a blast and I've gotten super close with a couple if the girls.

No she doesn't have kids she was a girl whose bf was stationed in CL that got killed in the blast on Tuesday. She picked up and moved here for him a few months ago from Washington and now he is gone

One of the girls whose husband died also just had a baby, so we are all trying to do fundraisers for them to help out in their time of need. It just sucks there isn't more we could do.

I havent seen any names yet. Usually they wait until 24 hours after the last next of kin has been verified.

I figured. Its so sad! DH was a mortarman. so im hoping he didnt know anyone you know. I hope that the familys find closure.

They are releasing names at 10:00 this evening now that all families have been notified. Three of the names were on the news earlier. All I remember are their ages though and they were 23, 21, and 19... SO young...

So very sad =(
