It's so perfect for anything regarding the military in general. I really think that's the "answer" to just about any question a person could have regarding why things are done a certain way in the Marine Corps.

Ditto. I would never go to school for four years and then just... not commission. (Unless I couldn't for whatever reason like some sort of blip on my record.) Then again I just like the idea of making more money, lol.

And it's why I'm going back to school yet again, lol. Honestly, I don't know if I'll even go back to work for a few years to come and in my profession (equestrian) it's not even required but it always helps, especially if you get degrees in business and such. You can never have too much education anyway.

As for looking young... Well, we both do. I definitely don't look 25. I'm told I'll appreciate this in a few years' time though, lol.

We don't know if we are going to TTC or not yet. I think we'll probably just let "god" or whoever handle it from here on out and if I get knocked up then we will welcome another baby with excitement and open arms. I don't think I'll be using OPKs and elevating my legs after sex anymore though   At least not for a while. I'd rather things settle down first and I want everything set in stone anyway.

I have two sons with my ex boyfriend and he is not on the birth certificate but we do currently have court ordered child support (although he never pays)

My question is when my fiance gets back from tech school and we get married do I need permission from my ex (who never sees the boys) to leave? Do I need to go to court ro get permision?

It depends. If that's stated in your custody agreement then yes. If not, then no.
I never have to ask my ex for permission to go anywhere.

There is no custody agreement. He has never filed for visitation or custody and we were never married... The only thing that links him by law to the children is the fact that he had a dna test done for child support and the fact that he does not pay his child support ever....

If there's no custody agreement then you can do whatever you want.

If any of you ladies could pop on by my thread, I have qyestions about bases, the 15 series MOS jobs, If you get basic housing allowance while he is in basic... etc. ...
