are they in daycare? maybe have him pick them up on the day he comes home (assuming it's a week day).. when hubby came home for R&R it was the week of Easter. my son's pre-k class was having an Easter egg hunt. hubby came in uniform and stood by the gate, all the other kids and parents surrounded him, then when it was time I told DS to come get his surprise. He came out the door, walked over to me, and I moved aside for him to see daddy. at first he was confused, then when he saw him it was great. he ran up to him and started crying.

We aren't even 100% sure on the date yet either. They told us the month but my husband is HHB so he will be leaving sooner than everyone else so I don't even know when he will be leaving yet. The unit has their official deployment orders but no one has gotten theirs yet.

No, I keep mine at home. We have no idea when they will come in. We get either 2 or 12 hours notice. So, I will have to figure this one out since we have to pick him up. I know they are going to flip and I think they can feel he is coming home soon.

my cousin is in england, but not sure if its london...

My stepdad was stationed in London for a few years. Loved it. His family went with him too.

Its an option for my husband after this deployment is through. We'll have about a year and a few months so we need to start thinking. My son has autism and category 4 on EFMP(lowest category I believe) so I'm trying to find resources and research but I'm failing haha.
