Yep. As long as everyone has a current physical, they just fill everything out based off that info and your medical records. Turn it in and wait for a medical board date. Go to the board. They look stuff over, ask a few questions, and they can approve it there at their level or if they dont approve it they send it off to the gaining base to look over and make the decision.

That's how ours went anyway (approved at the losing base's level though)

I don't want to drive all the way to the Commandant's house tomorrow. I might just not go. It's for the entire company so I wouldn't be missed anyway, heh. We're in the middle of moving right now so the house is a mess, my mom is coming into town tomorrow, etc. It would just be a huge ordeal. Besides, I've been to every single one of these dinners so far so it won't be a big deal to just miss one, right?

Anyway, I'm SO excited TBS is over with. I can't wait to leave Stafford/Quantico. My husband is taking the next month off and we get to spend that time with my dad which is wonderful. I can't wait to be back in Georgia with family. I haven't been there since Christmas.

TBS graduation is today, thank god. Another step closer to being done with Virginia! All we have left is a friend's wedding in SW Virginia and after that we're done. We should be out of here within the next week hopefully.

I hate know-it-all officer wives, whose WHOLE life is the Army! Get a life!!! The Capt Career Course has nothing to do with my child having pink eye. Even if, there was a big influx of people PCS'ing in...no one new has moved into our little neighborhood, my husband is deployed, so he certainly isn't brining anything home from work & our daughter doesn't go to the post school! How about it's just a little back to school sickies, thanks to Kindergarten germs!?

Thanks, it wasn't so much judging...just her trying to act like she knows what's going on at duty stations, they aren't even at (or ever been to)! Worst part is, she's my step moms sister so I can't just delete her (like I want too)! lol

I knew that!  

I've always wanted joined, but one thing after the other just made it impossible. Then the recruiter I talked to two years ago just called me and now it's actually feasible, so I'm highly considering it once again.

So, I'm just looking for opinions on those who've actually been there, done that.
