Depends on the branch, but there is a limit to how many dependents.you can have while joining. You could get a waiver but honestly thatd just be a pain(and not guaranteed). You should just wait a couple more months.

You being pregnant shouldnt have any affect on his joining.

Has your dh or so been deployed or did back to back deployments?

He's done two deployments, but had a year in between. His dad did a total of 6 years between Iraq and Afghanistan with a month or so in between but he asked for it to be that way.

Did he change? Does he snap at small stuff that he usually wouldn't snap at? Seems like SO changed and he snaps at everything now.   SO has been deployed twice back to back. (Iraq) I just don't know what to do anymore. How can I help him?

Yes he did and sometimes still does. He needs to ask for therapy and they should offer it to every man when they come back. He would have had to fill out a survey when he returned, 30 days after returning, and 6 months after returning.

I've almost left DH a few times because he can get emotionally/mentally abusive, but since he talked to the Chaplin and got help, it has been a lot better. We have also taken time out of our lives on the weekend to go do something. You have the zoo down there and Austin just to the north of you. Try to take a fun weekend or day trip. Go walk around Zilker Park, kayak, hike in the hills.

It also helps DH if I just make some quiet time and leave for the day so he can veg in front of the TV.

Sadly, yes but he says not to worry about it because it comes with the job.   He also has short term memory loss from being blowin up 17 times. He won't admit to anyone else he has ptsd only to me. He can't even remember what we did yesterday or this morning. It's getting harder every day.

He won't talk to anyone. We always go out, 90% of the time we're never home we're always doing something fun. I leave by myself also but usually after 2 hours he says come home because he misses me and LO.
