DH failed MEPS because of.....

seriously.   He has an appointment with an Army doctor to get a waiver next week.... BUT while he was in MEPS he met some kid and the kid got him really interested in the Air Force and he wants to talk to a recruiter, He got a 94 on his ASVABS and passed everything except needing a waiver for "the mole "   ....he can't get a hold of an AF recruiters in our state, we called three and none of them answer or call back.... what do you do in that scenario? can we use an out of state recruiter?

They are really hard to reach by phone for some reason. I'd just show up to the office if it's local.

The office is 30 minutes away.. He's probably going to just have to go in person though because we've been calling for days

A mole sounds about right lol, they're super picky at meps.

But yea, just go to the office, they're hard to reach on the phone because they're always in and out. But make sure you're leaving messages too.

Don't forget that the Air Force is not actively recruiting right now. Our guys here are never at the office because according to one recruiter, they had a quota of 3 new recruits for their office for the year and they filled those in January!

Yep. They can go wherever they want I'm pretty sure. I know the Marines we know who come back to the U.S. for R&R usually fly home first and then go and visit friends and family. We just had one stay with us not too long ago, actually.

Yeah, they're picky. It won't be a big deal if he gets it checked out/removed and gets that waiver though. A lot of people "fail" but get through after everything is figured out and taken care of.

We have orders to Ft. Gordon. I haven't been there since '06. Have they expanded? What's housing like?

Does Tricare cover essure? I'm seriously considering this method, I only have one tube though. I'm also on prime and seen at the naval hospital so I wonder if they even perform the procedure?

I can't say whether or not they cover it but can say that if they don't perform the procedure themselves they'll just refer you to someone who does. No one could do anything at the naval hospital in Charleston, not for what I had. They also filled up in the month of January for pregnancies, lol. Small hospital I guess. I ended up having my son at a much nicer hospital as a result so it was a blessing in disguise.

ughhh I think I have bad luck with Military bases. I went up to the local Military base to go get an ID and I had to get a visitor pass, ok thats fine and understandable. I go to the office the lady looks me up and down and says can I help you? I told her I need a pass and blah blah blah gave her my vehicle info and my ID. She tells me I need someone over 21 to come with me since I have a learners permit [ even though the cops said it was ok but what everrr] I said ok and I turned to leave and she says one more thing your shirt is inappropriate you will have to change it before you step back on this base. What? I was wear a black t shirt. I asked her how and she says you can see my bra?

I have a question about on base housing. If u have 3 kids do u get a 4 bdrm? We have a 3 bdrm now with 2 kids. I don't know if I'm supposed to tell them I'm pregnant for a 4 bdrm or not?

It depends on the gender of the children. If you have two boys and the baby is a girl they will just give you a 3. If you hace a boy and a girl and then a boy or girl on the way you can give them a proof of pregnancy and get a 4 bedroom
