Momma in 2010 I would suggest making a facebook page or website and advertize that way   you can still link your hats here, you just cant openly post those for sale on bg. I highly doubt sesame street is going to come after you for trademark infringement BUT mara just doesnt want it openly advertized on bg just in CASE something ever did happen. she could be liable for it.

I wanted to comment on your post. They can and eventually will come after these sellers. The big companies such as Disney, Nintendo, Nickelodeon, Cartoon Network, etc are very protective of their copyright/trademarks. I have heard (and seen) for myself people be shut down on Etsy for this. They contact the website with a C&D letter to have the infringing content removed, then they contact the seller of these items with a C&D letter as well. They could come after the seller for damages to their business and loss of sales. 99% of the time they don't.. but they can. Just want to make this aware.
