Sciatic Nerve

posted 15th Jun
So today was my first experience with the baby being on my sciatic nerve. it was painful, but bearable. i was just wondering if any of you have, or remember having this issue, and how long it lasted for you? i'm not sure if it's one of those things that just depends on where your little bundle of joy decided to put pressure on or not. and was it worse one day and better the next? let me know! thanks

Oh, only about 3 frigging months, nonstop. Once he got onto the nerve, he didn't get off. There were days where getting out of bed was a struggle. Rolling over in bed was near impossible. And walking... Oh please. Lol

have you tried walking or stretching? sometimes you changing position will cause the baby to change position too so maybe some walking or stretching will help. i usually felt better after walking but i don't know if maybe i didn't have it as bad as some women

I'm going to pray for you as well. I would have emotional breakdowns because I was so scared the pain would never go away, even after having J. It felt like such a permanent thing since there wasn't one day it didn't hurt. Sometimes I would feel the nerve flare up in my right butt cheek. I'd take a step and nearly fall to the floor. Every time I went to my doctor I would beg her to help me but there was nothing she could do. I want another baby, but I'm terrified about the pain from my Sciatic Nerve.

Yep, my first big day of it was today, too. She sat on it all morning at work and my legs were numb, tingly and cold feeling. Everytime a customer needed something I just handed them the reachy pole to get their own merch down hahaha. Don't tell my boss.
