my son will be 15 months on the 22 and he is off the bottle already ...im soo proud he is such a smart boy ....how long did it take you ladies to get ur child off the bottle ?? and here are few new pics

With my son, we just kind of phased it out over a month and a half or so, and at 10 months he was off it. With my daughter I phased it out the couple of weeks following her first birthday.

Ha! We're at 20 months and still can't get it done! Granted, she only gets one when she goes to bed, and if she wakes up at night, but we still haven't completely stopped using them. Better question is how did YOU do it?

My son was off of the bottle a week after he turned 1.

thanks everyone ....i just stated giving him sippy cups during the the day and only a bottle at night then he just stopped wanting the bottle

CJ was about 10 months when he was off the bottle completely. Now if I could just get that damned binky away.

both my first 2 were off before they turned 1.

That's exactly how we did it with CJ.

He's obsessed with his binky. And everytime I think I've found them all and taken them away, he pulls out another one from his stash. Haha.

Noah was off of his bottle when he was 13 months, he was very attached to them, and I knew it would be hard, but I ended up just throwing all but one away and then our puppy got a hold of the nipple and chewed it up so we were left with none, but he didnt seem to mind so much, now I'm working on his pacifier, hell be 2 in October and I don't want him to have his pappy anymore

He's adorable! Tyla had a sippy cup the day of her first birthday..a bottle before bed that night and then never again. She didn't care or notice at all.. I hope my next little girl is this easy going! lol

ETA- I started introducing the sippy cup to her around 6-7 months so maybe that helped.. I do exactly what her doctor says, like i'm going to go to jail if I don't. hahah
