6.2 weeks and no fetal pole

Hi, i just went in today for my 6 wk u/s and i was 6 weeks, 2 days along but only saw the yolk sac. The Dr. said this wasn't a good sign and I'm having another u/s Friday to see if we see anything. If not, she said it def. is not good news. I'm really nervous. this is my first preg. I've been having morning sickness so that makes me hopeful. Is it normal not to see the fetal pole yet? My dr. isn't giving me much hope

they didnt see a fetal pole for my daughter till she was 8wks...

Yes thats early dont lose hope I was told there was no baby in there and they were wrong im now 28wks along!!

maybe your due date is wrong. just give it a few weeks and you should see a lil peanut. and if you are having morning sickness thats a good sign id say cuz your making enough hormones for that.

And OP: I had an U/S at 6w 2d and saw the heartbeat. Maybe you're not as far along as you think! It's not uncommon. Did they do an hCG draw?
